When receiving charge the Li-ion flow is reversed, Li-Ions are returned to the anode. It is essential that a balance is maintained and there are sufficient Li-Ions at the anode and cathode after discharge or recharge. Lorsque la batterie est laiss\u00e9e trop longtemps dans un \u00e9tat de d\u00e9charge partielle, le sulfate de plomb non converti (Pb-SO4) se cristallise et durcit \u00e0 la surface des plaques, ce qui rend plus difficile sa d\u00e9sagr\u00e9gation lorsque la batterie est \u00e0 nouveau charg\u00e9e. Lorsque la batterie se d\u00e9charge, la concentration d\u2019acide sulfurique diminue et la teneur en eau augmente.
