Ampmatic is a automatic ‘realtime’ adjustment of charge current to match battery size and condition – small battery gets less, large battery gets more. This is a standard feature on all chargers able to deliver 5 Amp maximum or more. OptiMate Ampmatic models are ideal multipurpose chargers for all sizes of battery.
Yes you can. The AmpMatic program automatically adjusts the charge current to match the size of the battery.
Indeed, the OptiMate 7 doesn't have a button to switch it off. Once the battery is fully charged, it will go into maintenance : test every 30 minutes and deliver some additional current when necessary.
