The OptiMate 1 DUO can be used for 12V lead-acid (STD, AGM and GEL) and 12.8/13.2V lithium (LiFePO4 /LFP) batteries, used for engine start & deep cycle applications. For batteries from 2Ah to 28Ah for 24-7 battery maintenance. Can recharge batteries up to 15Ah within 24hours
The time required for the OptiMate 1 to complete a charge on a flat but otherwise undamaged battery is roughly equal to 1.5x the battery’s Ah rating, so a 15Ah battery should take no more than about 24 hours to progress to Step 3. Deep-discharged batteries may take significantly longer.
The OptiMate 1 DUO can only be used on 4 cell Lithium Iron Phosphate also known as Lithium Ferrous Phosphate or LFP (chemical formula LiFePO4) of 12.8V/13.2V.
